How you get to us does not matter. The main thing is that you come!
Whether by car, train or plane: Our hotel is so conveniently located that you could think that the traffic was built around it.
By car
On the A52 motorway, take exit no. 28 Essen-Rüttenscheid, follow Alfredstrasse in the direction of Essen-Zentrum, turn right at the first opportunity and then right again. Voilà. We see you already! The route to the hotel is also signposted!
Parking:The Hotel Maximilians has its own hotel parking spaces (€ 10.00 / per night) on the back of the house. The parking situation in the area is not always problem-free, but there are numerous possibilities to park your vehicle in the vicinity.
There is a parking lot on Lambertstraße just 2 minutes from the hotel, which usually offers sufficient parking space.
Should you still not find what you are looking for, please contact reception shortly when you arrive, we will be happy to provide you with plenty of tips on parking.
By train
A taxi from Essen main train station costs only approx. € 10. Do you want to save? OK! Take the subway 101 or 107 towards Essen Bredeney. Get off at the Florastraße station and walk on Rüttenscheider Straße for approx. 500m in the direction of Bredeney until you turn right onto Manfredstraße. After a hundred meters you will find yourself in front of our door.
By plane
The closest airport is Düsseldorf. At the airport train station, take the next train to Essen Hauptbahnhof. From there, continue as described above.
Alternatively, a taxi will bring you to us in around 20 minutes.
